Item is an matted electro-steel top- half oval pertrait engraving of Chief Justice Sir. W.B. Richards, Chief Justice Supreme court of Canada 1875 (b.1815-d.1889), identified in oval. matting has in blue pen "Chief justice Sir. W.B. Richards: Administrator during the visit of Dufferin to B. Columbia in 1876, and in England in 1878. He opened the last session of the Third parlement of Canada." Signature on seperate sheet source unknown attacked to top of matte. bottom of print in unattached.
