History
Stuart Wesley Griffiths, radio and television broadcasting executive, was born in Toronto in 1918 and educated at the University of Toronto. For sixteen years, 1941-1957, he worked with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in Montreal and Toronto. In 1957 he went to Britain as Controller of Programs for Granada TV Network Limited. he returned to canada in 1961 and from 1961 to 1975 he served as the President and Managing Director of CJOH-TV, Ottawa, with Bushnell Communications Ltd. He resigned in 1975 and, until his death in 1986, served as a communications consultant.
