Panel discussion of post-secondary education - full time vs. part time or corr. Panelists are Sir Walter Perry, Prof. George Whalley, Mr. Russell Savage and Mr. Walter Tullis. Side One: Ross Wartle introduces Prof. George Walley who speaks first. Then Sir Walter Perry (Vice-Chancellor of the Open Univ.) speaks, then Walter Tullis (who got degree through part-time studies) and then Russell Savage (representing full time students). Questions and answer period starts. Side Two: Question and answer period continues. Side 3 End of question and answer period.

[Lectures to the Miller Geology Club]

Item is a recording from the Miller Geology Club of two guest lecturers. Side one contains a lecture from a long-time Queen's professor who also attended Cambridge and Heidelberg, speaking about the history of Queen's University. This lecture includes a sung rendition of :The Old Ontario Strand." The lecture cuts off at the end. Side Two features the last twenty minutes of Dr. R.C. Wallace's lecture "Geology and the Humanities," presented to the Club on 29 Nov. 1949. The recording finishes with seven minutes of music.
