Video was filmed on the first day of development, highlighting the natural beauty of the area soon to be destroyed with narration by Helwig.

Afterward Gauntlet, Ellis, Tate, and several children are asked about their thoughts on the show, and the arts in Kingston. After that clips from a rehearsal of the Kingston Symphony are played.
Main Speaker(s): Samphan Usher. Begins with an interview with Chinese brush painter Usher who is asked about her opinions on the impact of the arts on Kingston, and how the local community suppotrs the arts. Afterwards clips of her painting are played.

Begins with an overhead shot of the Portmouth Olympic Harbour in Kingston with the label 'Day 1' before cutting to raw footage of the different sailboat races that happened that day, each labelled with the boat class and track name. Cuts to another overheard shot before showing a still picture of a sailboat with the label 'Kingston, Ontario'. Afterward come footage of Day 2 following the exact same format as Day 1, beginning with an overhead shot before cutting to raw footage of some of the races and ending with a still shot of several seconds. Footage of Day 3 is then shown in the same format. Footage from Day 4 is also shown. Video contains on-screen notes which wouldn't be seen by a viewing audiencee, such as a green box advising 'repeat follows' and a countdown from 1 minute to feed time.

Green gives a speech after which he calls up Dr Leggett takes the podium who thanks everyone for their work and funding for the library. Rae then talks about the importance of the library to the public. Brief speeches are given by representatives from the Stauffer foundation and the National Library. Paul Wiens talks about the library from a librarian's perspective, while . Edith Wiens sings opera songs between a few of the speeches. John Meisel gives another speech, then Dick Stackhouse and David Barr assist Green with cutting the ribbon to open the library. Video ends with Edith Wiens singing several songs.
