Dr. Hamm is interested in the question of the context in which our increasingly technological society we make our choices about how much energy we choose to use and what sources we choose to derive it. He discusses the risks we take and relates this to nuclear energy and technology. He also talks about technological intervention against threat of mature, working out our destiny and protecting the environment from our contriving.
