Cree carrying furs

Image shows three Cree Natives and a white man standing in front of a house, specifically in front of the door. The Cree are carrying furs, and one of them has his back to the viewer, one smokes a pipe and looks directly at the camera, and the third is facing forward but looking down. The man seems to be unlocking and opening the door with his back to the photographer. There are two snow banks in the foreground.

Cree Encampment

Photograph is of a Cree encampment at the river side. To the right is a group of five Cree, arranged around a fire completing various tasks such as mending, starting a fire, cooking, and chopping wood. To the left there are two tepees pitched. The ground is mostly bare, with only a few tufts of grass, and rocks. The horizon line is clearly defined where the river meets the sky.

Cree Group

Photograph shows a group of six Cree (two male, four female) arranged three standing in the back, and three kneeling in the front. In the background there is a Tepee to the left, and trees in the right, The women are all wrapped in shawls and blankets, and are wearing dresses. Both men wear hats, and the one who stands in the back holds an axe in his hands.

Cree in Canoes

Photograph depicts four canoes on a river, filled with Cree families. Some are being paddled, and some are drifting. In the distance there are snowy hills, and a bare sky. Some of the Cree look toward the viewer.

Cree with Pipe

Photograph is a close range portrait of a Cree man, dressed in western style work clothing, smoking a pipe. He is sitting in long grass and sand, with one leg folded under him, and one out in front, displaying his boot. In the background there are rolling hills, and a river.

Photograph depicts a grouping of deer within a rocky, but wooded area. This image is also shown in the Album of Notables.

Dog Sledding

Unusual image. Seems to have been pieced together by two images taken with different cameras. Entire photograph depicts from a distance two inuit men and their dog sled complete with team of eight dogs, in a vast landscape. There is a mountainous hill covered in trees in the back ground, while everything else remains covered in snow.
