The fonds consists of photographs of: Queen's student life - initiation (Science 1927), boarding houses, group shots, curling, field trips to Corbyville and Creighton Mines; Queen's campus - Arts Building, Carruthers Hall with observatory, Victoria school, Douglas Library; Grant Hall (interiors), Gordon Hall, Summerhill, Dairy School; Kingston scenes - St. Andrew's Presbyterian, Frontenac County Court House, Richardson Grain elevators, waterfront, Tete du Point Barracks; family life - picnics, weddings, family pets; travel - Ottawa (Lord Minto at the Parliament Buildings, Rocliffe Canoe Club), Vancouver (Stanley Park), New York (New York University, Riverside Drive, Olympia Pool, Battery Hill, Ebbet's Field); cottage life in the Thousand Islands and at Baptiste Lake - canoeing, sailing, camping, fishing, bicycling. There are also some images of Brantford, Peterborough and Lindsay, Ontario.
