Benedickson begins by introducing the important figures on stage before welcoming up MacCleod who talks about the importance of the school. MacDonald speaks on behalf of the federal government. Smith talks on behalf of the university, then Benedickson declares the school officially open.

Sesquicentennial RMC Parade Part 1
Part 1. Main Speakers: Commodore Murray, Agnes Benedickson. Location: Near Theological Hall. Begins with clips of a marching band playing, followed by Commodore Murray talking about sharing and co-operation between RMC and Queen's. Benedickson then takes the stage and talks about a plaque donated by RMC commemorating Queen's anniversary. The plaque is then unveiled and a representative of the chaplain says a prayer.
