Brenda is her daughter who visits her, and discovers her mother has cancer. Brenda is very against any surgery being performed on her mother, but the doctor advises her to let them operate. She gets advice from a family doctor, and then the video ends.

Main Speaker(s): Dr David Housman. Video is of a lecture by Dr Housman during the thirteenth meeting of the Association of Cytogenic Technologists. He compares how gene mapping was a decade in the past vs where they are in 1988, highlighting their progress.
