Part 1. Main Speaker(s): Harry Brown. Clips from CBC TV show Take 30. Begins with segment on The Jupiter Effect which would end the world on March 10, 1982 (the day after the show). Afterward comes a segment on a group of Canadian tapestries on loan to the Barbican Centre. The next segment is on how more and more Canadian families are getting multiple sources of income due to the increased number of wives joining the workforce, as well as the downsides of that.

Video begins with various different advanced ceramics businessmen taking turns discussing how Canadian businesses can catch up to the Japanese ceramics industry. Afterwards Sayer delivers some concluding remarks, thanking the speakers and the audience.

Main Speaker(s): Dr Ken Robertson, Ronald Watts, Ford Connell. Video is of the unveiling of a bust of Dr 'Blimey' Austin, a former professor of surgery at Queen's. Begins with a man talking about Blimey's contributions to the university and Kingston General Hospital, before thanking several important member of the audience for coming. Dr Robertson talks about the impact Dr Austin had on his students. Man from beginning of video returns to the podium and offers more thanks to people. Watts speaks further on Dr Austin's impact on the university. The bust is then unveiled, after which Connell reminisces on what Dr Austin was like in life.

Main Speaker(s): John Malloy, Dr T.D.V. Cooke. Edited video narrated by Dr Cooke showcasing the Questor Precision Radiograph. Begins with narrator talking about current radiographs, after which a demonstration of the QPR is shown.

Main Speaker(s): Dr Delva. Video is of an examination of Carl Quartermain, a man with Huntington's Chorea by Dr Delva. Quartermain sits in a chair qhile Dr Delva asks him to perform various movements, such as saluting and lighting cigarette. He then delivers a lecture on the advancement of medical science and philosophy, with a focus on the physician-patient relationship.
