Peace of the Action, The (Dr. Betty Reardon Visit)

Main Speaker(s): Sue Freeborn. Location: McArthur Hall. Video is of several music performances performed the day after Dr Reardon's visit to Queen's for the 2nd MacClement lecture. Each of the performances relate to peace in some way. Begins with a performance by two flute players named Scott and Kim. Afterwards, Freeborn introduces Mike, Mike, Don, and Jim who sing and play the guitar. David Kemp and Mark Danby then sing and play the piano. Next a man named Peter from Nicaragua delivers a speech on current education and peace efforts in his home country. Peer Sexual Assault Education Program: Residences

Location: Residence building, therapist's office. Vignette #1 is an acted skit where a male in residence sexually assaults a girl by tickling her against her will. Aftrwards MacDonald lectures the audience on cultural policy, focusing on a case study of a policy she helped through the House of Commons recently. Godfrey then takes the podium and delivers a paper on the media's role in the creation of public policy.
