Video is an edited presentation on how Douglas library is being revamped during the construction of Stauffer Library.

Main Speaker(s): Bill MacClatchy, Agnes Benedickson, David Smith. Video is of a ceremony recreating the cornerstone dedication of the Kingston City Hall, but for Stauffer Library the year before it was opened. Begins with a panning shot over crowd gathered outside Stauffer. The Queen's Band plays a few songs, and then MacClatchy introduces the speakers. Benedickson then talks about the history of Stauffer Library. Smith talks further about the function and importance of the library. The cornerstone of the library is then unveiled, and loaded with a time capsule. The plinth is then closed.

Begins with Fisher interviewing Mrs B. who is asked how she gets around town and why she chooses not to take the bus. Afterward Mrs W. answers similar questions and talks about her concerns regarding the buses. Mr G. is also asked similar questions and talks about Kingston vs Toronto transit.

Main Speakers: Mike Nallish, Bernard Trotter, Maurice Yates. Video was created for a local cable channel by Studio Q for their own show. Begins with several ads, followed by Nallish discussing with Trotter and Yates their thoughts on Canadian mindpower and how Queen's can help people harness that power. They also discuss a new book they are releasing. They go on to talk about Queen's graduate program exceptance and international students. Video ends abruptly after half an hour.

Part 1. Main Speaker(s): S.U.R.P. Planning Committee. Video contains a pitch to develop part of Kingston's waterfront delivered to the planning committee, after which citizens of Kingston discuss their concerns regarding the development.

The next segment is on how more and more Canadian families are getting multiple sources of income due to the increased number of wives joining the workforce, as well as the downsides of that.
