Item consists of one typed letter marked "Confidential" and a typed document by Douglas Haig marked "Secret" and intended for the Committee of the Imperial Defence. The document is also dated Dec. 1927. The author of the letter may have been Sir George Milne, Chief of the Imperial Staff between 1926 and 1933.
