Release print of the film by Robin Gunn Ltd. which explains a desire to develop the Prudhoe Bay gas fields and build a pipeline through Canada to the midwestern United States. Producers, Jaques Robin, Lorainne Newbigging; narrator, Leif Ericksion.

Original film on Bird Song Recording

Three versions/copies of the same film showing Bill Gunn in the field capturing audio of birds. All three of the films are spliced (presumably) from original footage. They are in various states of condition. Shown is Gunn's parabolic microphone as well as a variety of other audio equipment. One of the reels is attributed to W.H. Carrick.

This film depicts finches from the Galapagos Islands. There is paperwork in the can that identifies the variety of finches shown. This film was possibly produced for the CBC.

Prairie Waters was an episode of the CBC television series The Nature of Things that was dedicated to Bill Gunn after he passed away. The episode was an exploration of Manitoba's Delta Marsh and its animal, bird and plant life.

Part 2. Dr Brian Dickson, Keith Norton. Dr Dickson gives a speech to the convocation congradulating Dr Benedickson and thanking her for his doctorate, as well as talking about Canadian history. Norton speaks on behalf of the premier of Ontario. Representatives form other universities come up and congratulate Dr Benedickson.

Installation of Principal David Smith

Location: Grant Hall
Begins with procession entering the hall. University chaplain opens with a prayer, then Benedickson welcomes everyone and declares Smith principal of Queen's University. Smith then addresses the convocation with a speech. Afterwards Norton speaks on behalf of the provincial government in regards to the appointment. Smith then presents Jill Ker Conway, William McNeill, Henry Rosovsky, Erich Vogt, and Ronald Watts with an honourary doctorate of laws. Dr Rosovsky then addresses the convocation, after which the chaplain says a closing prayer.
