Fonds comprises records documenting the activities of the Pharmacological Society of Canada [PSC] (founded 1956), which merged with the Canadian Society of Clinical Pharmacology in 2008 to form the Canadian Society of Pharmacology and Therapeutics. Includes minutes, AGM records, constitutions, policy reports, and other materials. Also includes records of the Canadian Federation of Biological Societies on whose board the PSC had two representatives.
Fonds consists of material collected in preparation for the defence of three accused war criminals as part of the Commission of Inquiry on War Criminals in Canada (Deschênes Commission), including the entirety of the defence documents relating to Vladimir Katriuk, Wasily Bogutin, and Serge Kisluk.
Fonds consists of personal papers relating to both Madeline and Harvey Knox; scrapbooks and a sample relating to Harvey's World Championship barley crop; and photographs of Madeline, Harvey, and their house located in Mount Chesney, Ontario.
The fonds predominantly consists of records of the Afro-Caribe Community Foundation as well as some records from a variety of other community groups, such as Queen's University student groups, in which Brown has participated, or had interest. There is also a small amount of material that is representational of Brown's teaching career.

Mackenzie King, Louis St. Laurent, Lester B. Pearson and other Canadian political and business leaders. Many files relate to the presidency of Canadian National Railways and to Queen's University Capital Appeal, 1964-1965.
Fonds consists of an album containing photographs of Kingston and Barriefield during the Second World War. Album includes images of the automotive, motorcycle, and munitions training centres, individuals, and soldiers marching in the city, as well as military buildings and equipment.
The fonds consists of correspondence relating to his resignation from the leadership of the New Democratic Party in 1970, his resignation from the Legislature in 1982 and the Ontario New Democratic Party Hydro Task Force. The research notes, which were used for the preparation of his newspaper articles (1982-1987) contain material on many of the most important issues in Ontario politics during this period. The files on hydro illustrate the numerous problems (environmental, economic and technical) encountered by the province during the first half of the 1980's. The files of writings contain an extensive collection of his newspaper articles and book reviews written from 1977 to 1989. The fonds also includes an instructional video, produced by the [Ontario] Legislative Assembly Broadcast and Recording Service, and hosted by Donald C. MacDonald, entitled 'The Ontario Elections Finances Act: An Introduction', (April 1987).
