The collection consists of two series of records containing: subject files gathered by Mr O'Hara as an interested employee; subject files, financial records, and company reports gathered in his capacity as a director; internal memoranda created in his capacity as a general manager of one subsidiary company of Cockfield, Brown; and legal records documenting his case against the company and its trustees.

The collection consists of pictures taken by an unknown photographer, or photographers, in Kingston and the surrounding area, around the turn of the twentieth century. The photos show local landmarks such as Kingston City Hall, Kingston homes, Kingston Mills, Martello Towers and Jones Falls. Also included are photographs of the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery, men, horses and guns. Steam vessels such as the Rideau Queen, the Toronto and even pleasure sail boats, ice boats and quite a number of pictures of canoes and canoeists are included along with pictures taken at or near the Kingston Yacht Club. There are many pictures of as yet unidentified individuals in various poses including family scenes, picnics and fishermen. Another sizable lot of pictures were taken away from Kingston at various sites that have yet to be identified. One series were shot in what looks like a summer resort area and several others are of cities or a city yet to be identified.
Collection consists of 23 home movies taken of various Amos family activities. Outdoor activities such as skiing, horseback riding, picnic are depicted. There are also a number of films that have to do with mines and mining in the Cobalt area of northern Ontario.
Collection consists of correspondence, memos, attestation forms, and supply forms for Military District 3 (Kingston, Napanee, Belleville, Cobourg, Port Hope), including records about militia, artillery, and cavalry units.
Antietam Battle Maps. Fourteen charts and maps related to the Battle of Antietam, September 17, 1862. The charts list the officers, the corps, the divisions and the brigades of both the Union and Confederate armies. The battle maps document the various portions of the two armies throughout the battle. Robert Blenderman sketches. Illustrate the proposals for the Frontenac County Jail and walls made by the Save the Jail Committee of the Sydenham Ward Ratepayers' Association.
The fonds consists of a number of inscribed chapbooks (Flute, Grey Knitting, White Comrade), some newspaper clippings pertaining to Katherine Hale, and a number of inscribed books to Marie McPhedran from Katherine.
The collection consists of an album and a number of loose photographs relating largely to members of the Duff family, including Christina Duff, a military nurse, and others, before, duirng, and after World War One.
This collection consists of two deposits of correspondence between Shane MacKay, Executive Editor of the Winnipeg Free Press and Grant Dexter, Editor Emeritus of the Free Press. During these years, Dexter was in the Parliamentary Press Gallery, analyzing the political situation for the Free Press. The correspondence contains comment on the policy of the Free Press, notes of confidential conversations with politicians and some background information on the reports that Dexter filed. Includes several obituaries and appreciations of Dexter from the Free Press.
