Queen's Quarterly Index

Queen’s Quarterly was founded as a scholarly journal in 1893 with the support of Principal George Monro Grant, Professor John Watson, and Sir Sandford Fleming, among others. It is currently published four times a year. There are two author indices for the Queen’s Quarterly – the first one is from 1893 to [1953] and the second one is from 1954 to [197-].

Unpublished materials

This series contains correspondence, manuscripts, and administrative project files pertaining to manuscripts which were ultimately never published by Harvest House but at some point had been offered, entertained or pursued. A significant portion of the volume of this series is comprised of projects which were undertaken with the intention to publish but were eventually dropped or withdrawn from the publication schedule for a variety of reasons, such as disputes with the author or funding issues. Some of these projects went on to be published with other small presses. The series provides a reflection on the values of the press, giving insight to the types of materials the publisher felt was not within his purview or area of expertise.

Correspondence

Series consists of correspondence both sent and received by Queens University Special Collections. Correspondence pertains to administrative functions, conservation, acquisition, library loans.
