Fonds consists of materials created by W.D. Jordan Rare Books and Special Collections. Materials consist mainly of correspondence pertaining to administration, conservation, acquisition, loans, committee and staff meetings, and reorganization of the library.
The fonds consists of predominantly textual records created over a 35 year span reflecting the operations of Harvest House Ltd. Publishing and includes correspondence, manuscripts, galleys, book covers, cover art, promotional material, book review clippings, contracts and financial information. The material has been arranged by the archivist into the following series: Published projects; Administrative files; and Unpublished materials.
Collection consists of pamphlets, brochures, publications, posters, advertisements, and other ephemera from Kingston-area businesses and organizations. Includes playbills, schedules for transit, and souvenir programmes.
Fonds consists of largely digital images of Kingston and area, Queen's University, and beyond, copied from two photograph albums maintained by Donald Roughton while a student at the University. There are also two original photographs taken during the construction of the LaSalle Causeway showing the buidling of the two bridges.
Fonds contains Faculty yearbooks (1899-1927) and 'Tricolor/Tricolour' Yearbooks (1928-2009); photographs taken for the 'Tricolour '90' Yearbook, including students, their activities and events, campus and community scenes and events; colour and black and white prints, page layouts from the 1991 'Tricolour' Yearbook; colour slides, black and white negatives, prints and contact sheets from the 1992 'Tricolour' Yearbook; black and white negatives from the Golden Words, circa 1980's; funeral of John Deutsch; photographs (1994-1997).
Personal papers of Maynard Gertler. Mainly pertaining to his participation in a variety of social justice groups such as Amnesty International, PEN International, the Thoreau Society, Group of 78, Pugwash, Peace Now, and the International Association of Lawyers Against Nuclear Arms. There is also material reflecting Gertler's letter writing and participation on issues of National Unity in Canada during various French/English debates (referendums, language laws, etc). Also included is some household subject files and personal correspondence.
Fonds comprises correspondence from Al Purdy to Diane Dawber; approximately 150-200 letters. Also includes a copy of Dawber's "Nutrient Scent Test," (2017).
