Author and retired hockey player Ken Dryden, has a question and answer session, centering around his book The Game. Side One: Mr. Dryden fields questions on a wide range of subjects related to hockey, including changes in the game, playing against the soviet teams, the life of a professional hockey player, the relationships with the media, and problems with the system. Author, editor and history Professor at Queen's University, Dr. Malcolm lectures on the effect of nuclear weapons on attitudes towards war and peace. Side One: Robert Malcolmson argues that the doctrine of deterrence is a front for planning nuclear warefare and must be exposed as such. The knowledge that underlies nuclear capability will always be with us ready to be converted into weapons of war. The answer as Professor Malcolmson sees it, is to gain political control of the situation and manage our knowledge intelligently. Talk followed by questions from the audience. Side Two: blank.
