Egerton Ryerson of Upper Canada, educationalist & writer (b.1803-d.1882) matted with an top half oval portrat taped to the right of the imasge on the matte with the words "rev. dr. Ryerson" on the bottom, possibl;y him later in life. Put in slieve because of botoom two corners of main portrait unattached as well as small atttached portrait uncsucure (Peter Holdsworth October 10, 2007).
