Part1. Main Speaker: Agnes McCausland Benidickson, George Munro Grant (actor), David Smith, Douglas Wright. Video begins with a re-enactment of the first convocation for the Faculty of Applied Science. Benidickson announces the re-enactment after which Grant (actor) announces convocation of the first two Applied Science graduates. Once the re-enactment is over Smith does a modern-day convocation, presenting Wright with an honourary degree. Wright then does a speech to the graduating class. The graduating class of engineers is then given their degrees.

Part 2. Continuation and conclusion of graduating applied science class being given their degrees.

Main Speaker: David Smith. Location: Jock Harty Arena. Video shows Francis Gerald Tindall receiving his honourary degree.

Main Speaker: George Henry Erasmus. Location: Large gymnasium. Begins with Erasmus being presented his honourary degree, who then delivers a speech to the convocation for the remainder of the video.

Main Speaker: David Smith, William David Mulholland. Location: Grant Hall. Begins with Smith talking about Mulholland before presenting him an honourary degree. Mulholland then addresses then convocation with a speech.

Main Speaker: David Smith, Kenojuak Ashevak, David Johnston. Location: Large gymnasium. Begins with Smith talking about the convocation and the sesquicentennial celebration before presenting Ashevak with an honourary doctorate of laws. She says a few brief words and then Johnston is presented with his honourary degree. Johnston then speaks for the rest of the video.
