The skit is a re-enactment of life was a hundred years ago in applied science at Queen's vs how it is now. Afterwards there is an award ceremony honouring distinguished Applied Science students.

Bacon discusses the advantages of the microcomputers and Norton talks about how the governemnt approves. Morgan praises Queen's and talks about the advantages of a ZDS microcomputer. Judging by the tone of the video it may have been used as an advertisement for Zenith Data Systems.

After, Dr Wiederhorn lectures the audience on the fracture points of different structural ceramics, as well as how different types of defects can create different failures. He also speaks on new research which seeks to minimize defects. At the end of the speech the audience asks questions and comments on Dr Wiederhorn's lecture.

Afterwards Turner and Arnold give a presentation on the market potential of piezoelectric materials, as well as the usefullness of a searchable online database of information.

Directed By: Michael Souther. A student-made documentary on solar powered cars built by Queen's students for the annual competition event Sunrayce. The documentary has a focus on how more women are choosing to go into STEM fields.

Walter Light Hall Naming (1/2) / CFRC Interview with Walter Light (2/2)

Part 1. Main Speakers: George Aitken, David Smith, Agnes Benedickson, Dr Walter Light. Location: Walter Light auditorium. Begins with narrator talking about the purpose of Walter Light Hall and the electrical engineering program. Cuts to George Aitken talking about the naming in front of an audience in the auditorium. He presents Dr Light with a scroll signed by the graduating electrical engineering class. Smith takes the podium and talks about Dr Light. Benedickson and also talks about Dr Light as well as the naming process for the building, before unveiling a picture of him that will hang in the building. Dr Light then talks about how honoured he is. Ends with shots of the gathering after the naming.
Part 2. Main Speaker(s): CFRC Interviewer, Dr Walter Light. Location: Walter Light Auditorium. Takes place after the Walter Light Hall Naming. The CFRC interviewer asks Dr Light about his opinions on topics related to business, technology, and universities.

Nursing Vignettes

Video contains several skits, each of which relates to nursing in some way. Begins with a skit about a discussion between a nurse and a faculty advisor about the nurse's mark. Next is a skit of a nurse and an uncooperative patient. Afterwards a nurse and her supervisor talk about a patient. A nurse and her supervisor also talk about sexual alternatives for couples. A nurse and her patient then talk about her diabetes diagnosis.
