Dr Raffad then introduces Horwood, after which a slideshow containing birds, people canoeing, and other outdoor images plays to a background of flute music. Horwood then lectures the audience on the importance of adopting an integrated curriculum designed to encompass the entire human condition, instead of the current system which focuses only on the intellectual portion of life.

The next segment is on how more and more Canadian families are getting multiple sources of income due to the increased number of wives joining the workforce, as well as the downsides of that.

Part 2. Dr Brian Dickson, Keith Norton. Dr Dickson gives a speech to the convocation congradulating Dr Benedickson and thanking her for his doctorate, as well as talking about Canadian history. Norton speaks on behalf of the premier of Ontario. Representatives form other universities come up and congratulate Dr Benedickson.

Part 1. Main Speaker: David Smith. Location: Jock Harty.Video begins with procession filing into room after which Brian Yealland says a prayer. Smith addresses the convocation with a speech.

Part 2: Main Speaker(s): Prince Charles. Video begins with Prince Charles' speech from another Royal Visit tape. Afterwards Prince Charles unveils the plaque naming Queen's a national historic monument. Next, he unveils a reproduction of the Royal Charter of Canada in the JDUC. Finaly video ends with the royal couple's departure.
