Fonds consists of memorabilia relating to her time as a student at Queen's including programmes to Queen's Athletics Awards nights, the score to "The All-Queen's Revue" 1950 production of 'Dear Susie', and photographs of Pam Buchan as a member of the Queen's Bands, of a women's hockey team, and accepting an a athletic award; a clipping of 'Boo Hoo the Bear', the Queen's mascot; and a number of Queen's crests.
This fonds consists of correspondence, on personal, literary, artistic and particularly theatre matters. Material also contains a couple of pieces of art work by Grant Macdonald.
The collection consists of both Leal's own photographs and those he collected. There is a large number of portrait photographs which are arranged by surname but are undated. There are also a number of personal photographs which are listed by date (1937-1953) and topic and include such subject matter as the royal visit of King George to Kingston in 1939, some World War II activities, social events of the Canadian Locomotive company as well as collected photographs of air races, 1928-1930. There are also a number of commercial business photographs.
Sous-fonds consists of a typescript with holograph notes for "Twentieth Century Canadian Poetry" which was edited by Birney; includes letter from Birney to Ryerson Press (1953 June 2) discussing book. Also a typescript for "David and other poems."
The fonds consists of correspondence and business papers of the Rankin family : Andrew Rankin, carter; his sons Charles, a carpenter and James W., a tinsmith; and his wife Mrs.Ann Jane Rankin. The papers include business records with such local firms as Anglin, Sowards, Robertson, Livingston, Cartwright, Cunningham, Isaac Newlands, Simmons, Rathbun, McKelvey and Birch, Dalton and Strange; a number of lawyers including John A. Macdonald, Kirkpatrick and Rogers, Britton and Whiting; and a number of doctors.
Fonds consists of drawings of Macdonald Park (blueprint and tracing linen), Kingston, Ontario; and "Blank and Die Piercing", as executed for the Faculty of Applied Science course, Drawing 1A, by Francis Saldarelli, while a student at Queen's University at Kingston.
