Personal papers of Maynard Gertler. Mainly pertaining to his participation in a variety of social justice groups such as Amnesty International, PEN International, the Thoreau Society, Group of 78, Pugwash, Peace Now, and the International Association of Lawyers Against Nuclear Arms. There is also material reflecting Gertler's letter writing and participation on issues of National Unity in Canada during various French/English debates (referendums, language laws, etc). Also included is some household subject files and personal correspondence.

Ukrainian Community of Kingston collection
This collection reflects the undertakings and activities of three distinct, yet overlapping, Ukrainian groups in Kingston, Ontario: St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Parish, the Ukrainian Canadian Club of Kingston (a secular offshoot of the Church) and the Canadian League for the Liberation of Ukraine. The collection primarily consists of financial information but also includes newsletters, correspondence, receipts and some membership information for each of the groups identified.

Low Income Needs Coalition fonds
This fonds is comprised of correspondence, notes, publications and documentation which reflect the activities of the Low Income Needs Coalition. The records predominantly reflect three main accomplishments or undertakings of the Coalition over the years: opposition to Workfare; the return of the National Child Benefit Supplement to local families on welfare; and the activities of the Direct Action Working Group which assisted and advised individuals in understanding, or registering complaint regarding, the receipt of assistance benefits. Includes photographs of the Queen's Park Riot in June 2000, and LINC demonstrations and awareness campaigns in the City of Kingston as well as display and promotional material for the Coalition.

The fonds consists of correspondence (1890-1941) to various friends and family, as well as his second wife Joan Montgomery; typescripts, manuscripts and reprints of various poems and prose works; legal papers; photographs of C.G.D. Roberts and his friends and family. Also includes letters from Roberts to M.O. Hammond, photographs, articles by Roberts, as well as microfilm copies of some of the University of New Brunswick's Roberts papers.
