Wales Aus.t in the early sixtes. The lakoup? teaching in his pwn school "lanchie House." Was an enthousisic member of the polynesian society. In 1903 heavompanied Dr Robinson to the New Heberties to edit a snd edition of his (Dr Ra) "Martyrbslo." In the early part of 1904 his health began to fail, he eventaully became paralized he passed away ans is buried near the hospital at Armbouin. The L.L.D. degree was confered by the Queen's University Kingston Canada. He was a true christian, able scholar ,a loyal and broadminded citizen, loving good, and an enemy to all that is bad. He was 70 years of age" recorded by W.F. Gordon (one of his old pupils) New Plymouth S.Z. December 25th, 1916.
