There are several general orders relating to such things as services rendered by Indigenous warriors, claims for pay and land grants. Among the miscellaneous papers is an indenture of election executed by Stone as returning officer for Leeds County.

There are numerous family financial records and record books of the Brockville and Prescott Joint Stock Road Company, (ca. 1851-1915), and a general store in Prescott. The papers relate primarily to the affairs of Solomon Jones (1756-1822), physician and member of the Legislative Assembly.

The South Carolina collection consists of two parts: Part 1: the Papers of James Henry Hammond, and Part 2, Miscellaneous Collections of Personal and Family Papers. James Henry Hammond (1807-1864) was a statesman and plantation owner in South Carolina. He served in the United States House of Representatives and Senate, and was Governor of South Carolina from from 1840 to 1842. Fonds consists of the diaries (2 volumes) of William Smith, containing a detailed narrative of his activities in England and his first seven months in Quebec dated January 1784 to May 1787. The entries cover events, institutions, political affairs and descriptions of persons encountered by W. Smith. The first volume includes one of the only accounts of Canadian affairs from a London vantage point given that the papers of Sir Guy Carleton were destroyed. The second volume deals predominantly with Quebec.
