Afterward comes a segment on a group of Canadian tapestries on loan to the Barbican Centre. The next segment is on how more and more Canadian families are getting multiple sources of income due to the increased number of wives joining the workforce, as well as the downsides of that.
Part 2.Video on the history of women attending Queen's University, including their fight for equality in the university. Footage is a slideshow of photographs of women from Queen's history.
Part 3. CKWS News segment on how electrical engineering students at Queen's will start designing silicon microchips, one of the first centres like it in the world.

Queen's, for Alumni

Various different Queen's professors and administrative faculty present a series of clips showing important research and events happening across Queen's in 1980-1981, presumably created for alumni. Clips are of research by different engineering departments, football updates, the appointment of Agnes Benedickson as Chancellor, and random stock shots of Kingston. Each clip lasts from 1-5 minutes.

Convocation- Jock Hardy Part 1

Part1. Main Speaker: Agnes McCausland Benidickson, George Munro Grant (actor), David Smith, Douglas Wright. Video begins with a re-enactment of the first convocation for the Faculty of Applied Science. Benidickson announces the re-enactment after which Grant (actor) announces convocation of the first two Applied Science graduates. Once the re-enactment is over Smith does a modern-day convocation, presenting Wright with an honourary degree. Wright then does a speech to the graduating class. The graduating class of engineers is then given their degrees.
