Smith then addresses the convocation with a speech before presenting Prince Charles with an honourary doctorate of laws. Prince Charles then gives a speech.

Begins with footage of their boat arriving, after which Cooper welcomes the prince and princess. Afterwards they are shown walking through the university. Finally, Prince Charles' convocation in Grant Hall is shown. Video shares some footage with other Sesquicentennial Royal Visit tapes.

Part 1. Main Speaker: Dr Henry Morgentaler. Location: Grant Hall. Chariman of the Dunning Trust welcomes Dr Morgentaler who lectures for the remainder of the video. Final 8 minutes of the video is black screen.

Part 2. Conclusion of the lecture, Dr Morgentaler answers audience questions for the whole of the video.

Part 2: Main Speaker(s): Prince Charles. Video begins with Prince Charles' speech from another Royal Visit tape. Afterwards Prince Charles unveils the plaque naming Queen's a national historic monument. Next, he unveils a reproduction of the Royal Charter of Canada in the JDUC. Finaly video ends with the royal couple's departure.

Part 2. Concludes the broadcast with the graduating reporter receiving her own convocation, ending with footage from the university's past.

Begins with clips of a marching band playing, followed by Commodore Murray talking about sharing and co-operation between RMC and Queen's. Benedickson then takes the stage and talks about a plaque donated by RMC commemorating Queen's anniversary. The plaque is then unveiled and a representative of the chaplain says a prayer.

Part 2. Begins with footage from the actual RMC parade around Queen's campus after the talks in part 1. Afterwards contains raw shots of the plaque unveiled earlier. Video then cuts between raw still shots of flags around campus.
