The fonds consists of correspondence, minutes, typescripts of books, essays, galley proofs, news clippings, broadcast scripts, subject files, lectures, photographs and sound recordings. Dr. Whalley is the author of several books and many essays and articles. Most are represented here by working drafts, final copies and many by the final published version. Correspondence dealing with each topic and publication is also included. Another aspect of Dr. Whalley's career, broadcasting, is well represented in the papers. Dr. Whalley authored many scripts for radio and television. Drafts of scripts, revisions and correspondence with producers follow each work through from inception to reviews. There is also documentation of the 1939 Cambridge polar expedition as well as some personal material documenting Whalley's relationship with his family. The fonds was arranged by the donor into the following series: Books; Essays and articles; Broadcasts; Poetry and early imaginative writing; Professional papers, reports; Professional correspondence; and Personal material.

The fonds consists of correspondence, subject files, press clippings and pamphlets which document all phases of Senator Crerar's varied adult career. An audio disc of a speech by Arthur Meighen of 'the greatest Englishman of History' is also included.
Crerar, Thomas Alexander
The fonds consists of correspondence, day books, journals, ledgers, cash books, and the financial records documenting the business transactions at the store, saw-mill, grist mill, flour mill, boarding house and electric plant. Also included is an Indenture between Benjamin Tett and O'Hare. The papers record the affairs of Benjamin Tett and his sons, John Poole Tett and Benjamin Tett, Junior and grandson Edmmund J. Tett.

The fonds consists of correspondence, manuscripts, diaries, research notes, memoranda, scrapbooks, photographs, critical commentaries, and news clippings. Correspondents include Rudyard Kipling, Alfred Noyes, Booth Tarkington, Willa Cather, Theodore and Eleanor Roosevelt, Vincent Massey and Odell Shepard, among others. The microfilm contains correspondence with Washington Irving Way, Mr. Yard, Miss Rittenhouse, J.R. Peck, Frederick Holland Day and W. Poillar.
