Scrap paper to a Mr. Jamison

Addressed to a Mr. Jamison, writer is stating that their remittance of $1.50 has been received, and their membership card is being sent from "head office". Signed by a "W.H. Hutchison"

Ripped letter paper.

Two pieces of paper ripped in half, missing bottom halves. Reads: "…2nd inst, and am very much pleased to know that you have been successful in getting a position. I do not anticipate any worry on your part over finding employment in this country and it would be cause of satisfaction to every Canadian if everyone coming to us from the British Isles landed a position with as little difficulty as you have done. I shall be glad to see you if you should visit our city at anytime and I assume you my best wishes go with you for a successful career in Canada..." Rest is cut off. Unsigned.

Postcard from Ohio

Picture is a bird's eye view of Patinbay, Ohio. Painting of what looks like a small town or village. Canadian postage. On the back, handwritten with pencil that is now faded. Reads: "This is a lonely place to work… Friday afternoons…". On the actual card there is a small hole that goes through the card, and it seems to have had a dark colored liquid spilled onto it and staining it.

Personal letter to a Sid Parkins

Addressed to a "Mr Sid Parkins" in Toronto, dated 612515120. Writing that sender received their letter, noting what they said about "her ear and getting after it. Says "looked her ears but never noticed her scratching, so didn't it suspect anything wrong... I think something good should results with interest. One thing sure there is not a better combination of blood existing in the world today. (Will advise you as to results in due course)."

Personal letter from Batterson

Handwritten. Reads "Mr. WH Hutchison I got your letter… found 3 men wanting to claim it… Williams and Hunt back but Hunt back gave in and if it belong to him he didn't want it so I got it and sent it to you. There is no… to you hope everything is satisfactory. We are all well hope to find you the same. Yours, WH Jamason". At the bottom, handwriting reads: "I don't think any of the claims is any good but yours".

Paul he says it belongs to the government and Huntback tried to claim it as well. I forbid him cutting any on it... you had a better get busy about it he said he would see about it but you can do it yourself and cannot tell you... on dog lake name (Rabbit no need to not tell you this as well a great talker attend but doesn't... from high water mark he will you cannot cut timber only for building purposes... Jamieson he would attend to that matter about Grandpa certificate now and I will too as soon I can. All well, God Bye..."
