Correspondents include Sir Robert Borden, J.S. Woodsworth, Lord Tweedsmuir and, most notable, are a large number of letters and telegrams from Mackenzie King.
The fonds consists of correspondence of Governors General, logs of company ships, such as the Shelihoff, Tungus, Constantin, Kamchatka and Menshikoff, and journals of exploration, in particular the northern overland expedition under the command of Lieutenant Lavrentii A. Zagoskin.
