Fonds consists of the Doomsday book of the 6th Field Company Canadian Engineers. The book relates information regarding the unit based on their semi-regular) annual reunions. The minutes of those reunion meetings, menus, clippings, signatures of attendees as well as a small number of photographs of members during the war, as well after, are all bound into the book. While the book was purchased and its assemblage began in 1929, there are some documents that predate that year that are included.

Fonds consists of records relating to the development of Block D by Kingston 2000, arranged as exhibits for use in a court case against the City of Kingston and other parties. Includes a binder and diskettes of the narrative of the failed development, as well as news clippings and Council meeting videos related to Block D.
The fonds consists of thirty diaries and one notebook covering the years 1932 to 1960. The diaries and notebooks reflect the work the Somerville undertook during that time and include work at Niagara Parks, Queen Elizabeth Highway, and Fort Henry.

The fonds consists of the correspondence of Sir John A. Macdonald. Included are letters from politicians, cabinet ministers, bureaucrats, religious figures and businessmen. There are approximately 100 individuals represented in this series with whom there was considerable correspondence. Among the most voluminous correspondence is that from Gilbert McMicken (secret service reports); Sir George Stephen; Sir Alexander Campbell; Hon. Edgar Dewdney; Sir Alexander T. Galt; Lawrence Vankoughnet; Sir David Macpherson; and Sir Charles Tupper.
