There is also information about stocks and investments in such companies as the British North American Investment Company, the London and Westminister Investment Company of Canada, and records about investing in various gold mining operations such as Canada Gold Fields Syndicate, Deer Trail, Monte Cristo and the Republic Consolidate Gold Mining Company. The material has been arranged chronologically.

Also included are three account books of William's that were sent to the Kirkpatricks to help explain the estate transactions.
