Item is a halftone magazine print of William John Hanna, born 1862 and died 1919, lawyer and political figure in Ontario, Canada. Initiated an overhaul of Ontario's prison systems, closing down facilities which treated prisoners harshly, and took special interest in improving the operations of prisons in Ontario to be more humane.
File contains photographs with images of workers, train cars and train car production in the factory. These photographs were likely accessioned by the City of Kingston or Pumphouse Museum at some point as each has an accession number attached. Most also have W.J. Cox, 1991 on the back of each photograph.
