The fonds consists of two poems by John Kilmer. The first poem is a holograph of the "Ballad of Father Hudson", a poem describing the land of the Great-North-Seaboard Province from Fundy to Chaleur and the life of Father Hudson, and the second poem refers to Eddi's service, Eddi being a Priest at St. Wilfrid.
The fonds consists of a journal listing deaths in Kingston, Sydenham, Loughborough Township and Cataraqui, frequently listing the age and cause of death. The journal was also used as a scrapbook, and contains some ledger entries. Also included are a flyer advertising Forepaugh's Circus visit to Kingston on July 9, 1880, a postcard, letter, invoice, two envelopes and two cut ledger pages.
The fonds consists of scrapbooks containing literary references, poems, articles, a short series on various counties in Ontario and news clippings of World War l. A notebook entitled The Heart of a Boy contains manuscripts and articles, 1884-1891. Three issues of The Maritime Advocate and Busy East, 1935, contain articles about Nova Scotia and enclosed correspondence.
The fonds consists of a typescript of an unpublished novel, 'Hard by St. Lawrence'; a manuscript essay, "Make a stand"; articles; and book reviews relating to her book "Miriam of Queen's", which was published in 1921. In addition, news clippings related to MacKinnon and a copy of Miriam of Queen's book are also included.
