Correspondence

Series contains correspondence mainly between Simpson or on behalf of Simpson by members of her lab or colleagues with other scientists and medical professionals regarding testing Inuit and Indigenous communities for the silent serum cholinesterase gene, requests for probes, Machado-Joseph disease, chromosome mapping, and Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Type 2. A couple of files do not contain correspondence but have been included because the records may contain information related to other research notes in the correspondence files.

Lab Notebooks

Series contains notebooks related to research conducted in Simpson's lab. Shirley Myers was Simpson's research assistant.

Macdonald's statue, and his grave in Cataraqui Cemetery (1936), and a VHS tape, produced as part of a presentation to the University's Board of Trustees entitled, "The Governance of the University" (1994).
