This sous-fonds is comprised of correspondence and papers relating to personal business, including real estate holdings in Kingston, Napanee, Wakefield and elsewhere. The real estate holdings in Kingston include 20 Emily Street, 165-167 King Street, 270 Division Street, and properties on Princess and Montreal Streets. There are many examples of documents pertaining to the handling of estates such as wills, contracts, and Powers of Attorney. There is also information about stocks and investments in such companies as the British North American Investment Company, the London and Westminister Investment Company of Canada, and records about investing in various gold mining operations such as Canada Gold Fields Syndicate, Deer Trail, Monte Cristo and the Republic Consolidate Gold Mining Company.
