The fonds consists of four files of correspondence. They cover the years 1926 to 1927 and contain letters from Harcourt Brown to his fiancee and later wife, Dorothy Stacey. In addition there are approximately one-hundred and fifty photographs, plus nitrate negatives, of Queen's University, Kingston and district, 1926-1927. These photographs include images of shipping and the bridge in Kingston harbour, Fort Henry, Wellington Street, Portsmouth village, Kingston Mills and the old military hospital.
Fonds consists of notes and research on teaching and the history of the electrical engineering department and CFRC radio station; photographs; the Royal Canadian Air Force radio mechanics course.
Fonds contains Faculty yearbooks (1899-1927) and 'Tricolor/Tricolour' Yearbooks (1928-2009); photographs taken for the 'Tricolour '90' Yearbook, including students, their activities and events, campus and community scenes and events; colour and black and white prints, page layouts from the 1991 'Tricolour' Yearbook; colour slides, black and white negatives, prints and contact sheets from the 1992 'Tricolour' Yearbook; black and white negatives from the Golden Words, circa 1980's; funeral of John Deutsch; photographs (1994-1997).
Consists of Faculty Board minutes; individual faculty files, contracts and other material relating to part-time teaching staff; files dealing with annual lectures, honorary degrees and other subjects; a history of the School of Business along with subject files from the Office of the Dean; course information and promotional material; series of slides documenting the installation of an IBM-PC lab in Dunning Hall; records, publications, and photographs relating to a symposium held at Queen's University in honour of Omond McKillop Solandt.
