This collection consists of the records of the Teaching and Research Assistants Certification Campaign (TRACC) and include correspondence, minutes, certification documents, newsletters, posters, Collective Agreements from other Universities in Ontario, CUPE-related material.
Teaching and Research Assistants Certification Campaign
Collection consists of articles relating to the School, derived from various publications; clippings; copies of graduation diplomas issued by the School; an unpublished history of the School by Dr. T.W. Dukes (1997).
This historical collection contains primarily of secondary source information pertaining to a number of subject areas including churches, industries, institutions, historical events and celebrations. Includes research files, subject files, publications, clippings and ephemera. There is some original material within the collection; of particular note is a polling book for the election between John A. Macdonald and Mowat when they ran against each other for a legislature seat in Kingston in 1861; a boat-building contract (in french) from 1808; specifications for the Richardson Bath House (1918), and material pertaining to visits, royal and otherwise, to the City over the years.
Fonds consists of correspondence, research notes, manuscripts, interviews and photographs that went into the writing of the book entitled, "Their Enduring Spirit - The History of Frontenac Provincial Park, 1783-1990". The records document the social and family life around Frontenac Park, as well as the extensive mining, farming and logging industry in that area.
The collection consists of correspondence, subject files, material relating to Canadian writers, photographs and writings of Lorne Pierce. The material provides invaluable research materials relating to the careers of her father and mother, Lorne and Edith Pierce, as well as manuscripts from many other writers including Bliss Carman, Charles G.D. Roberts, Duncan Campbell Scott, Marjorie Pickthall, Constance I. Davies, John Richardson, and Georges Bugnet. Also includes photographs of the Pierce family.
Collection consists of subject files including 'Nursing Notes', Ontario Hospital Nursing tests, notes, and correspondence, Public School Course Books, and scrapbook belonging to Carmel Cosgrove; mass cards; and photographs and photo albums of various members of the Cosgrove family, and the Kingston Dry Dock.
Collection consists of eighty volumes, each composed of a guidebook and thirty slides. Together the sets depict many aspects of the political, economic, and cultural history of Canada. Produced by the National Museum of Man, National Museums of Canada and the National Film Board.
This collection consists of photographs (prints and negatives, b/w and colour), slides, colour separations, and clippings from various early Kingston newspapers, accumulated during the research and writing, by Nick and Helma Mika, of publications relating to Kingston, and the surrounding region.
