Silver presentation cup presented to Mr. Robert Drummond, mason contractor, of Kingston, by Lt.Col. John By, Royal Engineers, in appreciation of his services on the construction of the Rideau Canal. Cup is dated Aug.21,1831.
Trade artifacts, archaic period. Conch shell, native copper, galena (lead sulphide). Late Laurentian grave goods (1500 BC - 1000 BC) from cemeteries in the Picton area, Prince Edward County.
Portion of a ship's rudder, 1758. Made of oak with iron fittings. Found during an excavation in Jan.1954. Believed to be from one of the vessels of the French fleet burned by Lt. Col. Bradstreet in July 1758.
