Items are photographs cut from a photo album showing members of the 2nd Battalion, No. 2 Company, No. 8 Platoon that were commanded by Capt. George Taylor Richardson when he was killed in action during World War I.
Using historical documents, interviews and personal genealogies, Shernold Edwards examines the history of Black Canadians in Kingston from both an historical perspective as well as the contemporary reality of being a student at Queen's University. Includes interviews with local Kingston residents, the Mason family, the Batchelor family, Rudy Cox, Judi Brown and Rick Neilson.
