Fonds consists of interviews, conducted by Earle Toppings, Senior Editor (General Books), with Hugh Garner on a variety of subjects, as part of a publicity campaign undertaken by Ryerson Press, which was aired on CBC Radio.
Sous-fonds consists of a typescript for an address entitled "What Next in Canadian Fiction?"given at the Canadian Authors' Association conference in Victoria, B.C. on July 6th, 1960.
Collection consists of photographs of Kingston area buildings including Bajus Brewery; Cartwright House; Sir John A. Macdonald's house on Rideau Street; Bellevue House; the Macdonald Monument in City Park; the Church of the Good Thief, Portsmouth; Fort Frontenac; the Martello and Point Frederick Towers; and the Old Mill at Collins Bay.
Fonds consists of course notes taken by Paul Pross while he was a student in the Faculty of Law at Queen's University, including those for 'Canadian Government and Politics', with Professor Alexander Corry (1959-1960), and 'Constitutional Law', with Professor Lederman (1962-1963); copy of the World University Service of Canada Seminar 1962, held in Poland entitled, "The Role of Science and Culture in the Development of Nations"; ten photographs relating to the 'Keep Queen's Green' campaign.
The collection consists of research material, possibly collected by Mr. Gerald Boyce, relating to Ku Klux Klan activities in Belleville and Kingston, Ontario. Includes notes of an interview with Mrs. Everett Bell from March 1966, a copy of a letter from Mrs. Bell to Gerald Boyce, and copies of an article from The Observer (15 Dec. 1965) titled "The KKK: How the Klan came to Canada."
Items are a brochure of "Commemorating events of great significance to the people of Ontario - The Opening of the St. Lawrence Seaway" (1959), two 80th anniversary coins celebrating the 1000 Islands bridge (1968) and an accompanying letter to and from David Dowsley.
Fonds consists of correspondence, course outlines, material relating to various conferences, workshops, projects and committees pertaining to history and social science curricula; correspondence, minutes, speeches, campaign material regarding his time as a school board trustee; campaign material for several federal and provincial elections. There is also a small collection of videocassettes which Mr. Watson produced as part of his Faculty of Education course titled, 'History and Contemporary Studies', which focussed on role playing and was for use by intermediate students and their teachers; and several episodes of his local Kingston talk show, which aired on CKWS Television.
