The album consists of Dominion Day celebrations, family gatherings, a farm team, and church interior at Maple Hill, Ontario; scenes along the Madawaska River, and the bridge crossing it, at Stewartville, Ontario; scenes at Glasgow Station, Wolf Lake Wolverine Camp, and Beaver Meadow, Ontario; scenes on Brule Lake, Ontario, including a cottage and lumbering; and scenes at, and around, 'The Knolls', Mount Vernon, New York.

This album consists of pictures from the Thousand Islands taken during the summer of 1911. Includes views of Ryder cottage, Wilson's Canal, yachts the 'Ramona' and 'Rowena', the 'Parthia', a barge, and engine hoist of the Kingston Salvage Company, and a couple of Steamers.

From 1843 to 1857 the capital of Canada had moved between Kingston, Montréal, Toronto and Quebec City. Seeing as agreement on a permanent capital was so contentious, the matter was deferred to the young Queen Victoria. The 2 pocketbooks contain articles about the proposed locations of the capital of Canada, reflecting the decidedly biased opinion that Kingston would be the best choice due to the City's location, security and lifestyle.

The drawings represent heritage buildings in many towns and regions in southern Ontario such as Adolphustown, Bath, Claireville, Cobourg, Cornwall, Grafton, Islington, Kingston, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Perth, Port Hope and Toronto.
