The fonds consists of correspondence, manuscripts (both published and unpublished), poems, plays, notebooks, and daybooks. The material reflects Humphrey's literary life from her teenage years up until 2010, and shows the process of writing books of both poetry and prose from beginning to end. The fonds is comprised of the following series: Correspondence; Daybooks; Promotional material; Teaching Material and Writings.

Fonds consists of notes compiled by Dr. Walter Ford Connell during Western Canada fund-raising tour; records, 1926-2000, including Alumni Branch files; fund-raising files 1966-1986; class lists, correspondence, guest books, scrapbooks, and photographs pertaining to class reunions, 1926-2000; correspondence, memoranda, minutes and agenda, reports, budget and other financial material, photographs, printed material relating to various events sponsored by the Department during the University's Sesquicentennial celebrations; correspondence, memoranda, scripts, and advertising material relating to the creation, production, and distribution of various promotional films, in conjunction with the University's Department of Film Studies, and sponsored by the Department of Alumni Affairs; Deceased Alumni Files ca. 1930's-2000's; one reel-to-reel tape containing various Queen's songs, including 'Oil Thigh' by the Queen's Bands and by the the Queen's Choir, and the 'Old Queen's Sweater' as recorded by Andrew Marshall; an audio cassette, produced by the Department as part of the University's Sesquicentennial celebrations, entitled, 'Cha Gheill! - The Queen's Singers, Queen's University 1841-1991', directed by Dr. Mark Sirett, series of photographs of recipients of the 'Alumni Award for Excellence in Teaching' (1975-2000); photographs of classes, sports teams and events; photographs of Orientation Week, Parents BBQ and Move-In Day; photographs of reunions, Homecoming events, and dinners including the John Orr Dinner; a sound recording featuring the annual John Orr Dinner, held 14 November 1987; photos of various events held over the years at Summerhill including receptions for honorary degree and other award recipients; videocassette and DVD copies of a promotional film entitled, 'Queen's University, 1841-1926', that was shown to Alumni Branches and other interested persons as part of a major fundraising campaign undertaken by the University in 1926; taped interview with Prudence Austin, oldest living Queen's graduate at the time (May 1990).

Fonds consists of correspondence, subject files, constituency files, speeches, press releases, newspaper clippings, political memorabilia acquired during Robert Nixon's political career, office records from Nixon's Queen's Park office and from his constituency offices, material about the Nixon family and the political career of former Premier Harry C. Nixon, and a series of videos recording various speeches, dinners, family, and other celebrations.

Fonds consists of submissions and transcripts of interviews, received as a result of a request for stories, anecdotes, memories, and photographs, pertaining to William Allen ('Dollar Bill'); a compact disc of songs by the folk group 'Tanglefoot', including one track entitled 'Dollar Bill'.

Account book consisting of a variety of transactions by an unknown proprietor of an unnamed brewery. Translations entered by name of buyer. As of 1867, there are daily transactions of owners including lists of school moneys and of tenants.

Original manuscript diary of Dr. Thomas Robinson Dupuis' trip to Europe in the spring and summer of 1881. Of particular note are his many visits to hospitals and medical schools - witnessing curriculum, operating procedures, as well as sitting an exam for a diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons.

Diary of a young woman touring the Thousand Islands for the month of August 1883 starting in Hartford, Connecticut on August 1st, 1883 and ending in Montreal on September 1st, 1883. The author spends much of the diary remarking on the beauty of the scenery, the quality of the food and variations in the weather. She recounts day excursions on both American and Canadian islands and towns and mentions Clayton, Alexandria Bay, Gananoque, Brown's Bay, Hay's Island, Whitney Point, Guernsey Point, and Stave, Bluff and Skinner islands. She is traveling with the Redfield family (Mr. and Mrs. Redfield and their children George and Henry) and the "Professor". They encounter a Dr. Norris who is known to the family. When they arrive in Montreal they stay at the Windsor Hotel, which is greatly admired.

There is an additional three page entry at the end of the diary describing a trip to the White Mountains in New Hampshire in September of 1885.

The fonds reflects Nancy E. Simpson’s career as a geneticist and consists of lab notebooks, correspondence, blood sample receipts, course materials, workshop (conference) abstracts, publications, data related to her cholinesterase studies in Brazilians and data concerning the Inuit of Igloolik. The materials in this fonds mainly relate to her research concerning the silent serum cholinesterase gene in Inuit and Indigenous communities, chromosome mapping, Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Type 2 (MEN-2) and fertility. There are also references to Machado-Joseph disease and Friedreich’s Ataxia.

Fonds consists of class notes/notebooks taken by Frank S. Young (Meds 1908) and his son F. Malcolm Young (Meds 1941) on various Queen's medical school courses such as pathology, bacteriology, preventative medicine, etc. It also includes laboratory reports and slides. In addition, it consists of the lecture notes and exams taken by F. Malcolm Young to become part of the Queen's University COTC (Canadian Officer Training Corps) in 1939-1940.

This fonds consists of students' reports on the architectural accessibility of various Queen's buildings (1987-1991); information pertaining to publications, special awards, and honours of faculty members (1977); a collection of historical information relating to the School of Rehabilitation Therapy, Department of Rehabilitaton Medicine, and the Regional Rehabilitation Centre for Eastern Ontario (1966-1995).
