On April 21, 1952 a small village of people known as the Cheslatta T'en were given 2 days to move from their homes and territory. Alcan was flooding the Cheslatta Lake for Hydro-Electric Power and Aluminum. The Cheslatta People said no, but Alcan proceeded to flood the lake.
