Nature of Things - Prairie Waters
Prairie Waters was an episode of the CBC television series The Nature of Things that was dedicated to Bill Gunn after he passed away. The episode was an exploration of Manitoba's Delta Marsh and its animal, bird and plant life.
This film depicts finches from the Galapagos Islands. There is paperwork in the can that identifies the variety of finches shown. This film was possibly produced for the CBC.
Film depicts scenes on Machias Seal Island in the Bay of Fundy.

This reel is a compilation of clips depicting caribou, bear and fish tagging, muskrat studies. There is some sort of association with Arctic Gas.

This film was edited by Lucie Robin, written by Ed Hailwood and narrated by Helen Hutchison. The film was created with support from the Ontario Arts Council and the Canada Council.
