Fonds consists of correspondence from the University of Regina relating to the forming of a National University Pensioners Association; "Echoes in the Halls: An Unofficial History of the University of Alberta"; a copy of "The First Twenty Years", being the history of the Retirees Association at the University of Victoria; and a series of DVDs, produced by the Simon Fraser University Retirees Association entitled, "An Oral History of SFU: The Excitement of the Early Years" (2005), "An Oral History of SFU: A Conversation with Erickson and Massey SFU Architects" (2006), "An Oral History of SFU: The Instant University" (2007), and "An Oral History of SFU: Creating SFU: The Inside Story" (2013).

This video provides an oral history of the first few years of SFU as seen through the eyes of staff, charter students, administrators, and faculty. They describe the excitement and pioneer spirit of those times as well as the challenges. The innovative approaches to teaching and faculty appointments created a different kind of University that would offer a new beginning for its participants.

This interview of the Simon Fraser Architects Arthur Erickson and Geoffrey massey was held at Simon Fraser University on October 18, 2006, by the Exceuitve Board of the Simon Fraser Retirees Association. Leigh Hunt Palmer conducted the interview consisitng of questions submitted by the Executive Board.
