Fritz-Green fonds

The Fritz-Green fonds is comprised of material created and/or collected and collated by Paul Fritz. The records predominantly pertain to the history of the Delta region that were gathered, acquired, and purchased by, or given and gifted to, Paul Fritz from a variety of sources during his time spent researching and writing about the area. The fonds also contains a significant amount of material which documents various Green family members (Fritz's maternal side) as well as textual records created in the course of Fritz's own personal activity and endeavours. The fonds consists of of three sous-fonds and one collection: Paul Fritz sous-fonds; Green family sous-fonds; Delta Region Collection; and Stevens family sous-fonds.

Fonds consists of office files, including correspondence ("Greens" and "Blues"); subject files; reports; appointment books; Annual Reports of the Principal (1910-1968); meeting and committee records; notes and slides for visit to Asia (November 1997); a VHS copy of the Welcome Ceremony Address to the Class of 2006, by Tom Cavanagh (2 September 2002), plus footage of the 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. news coverage by local Kingston television station CKWS. Most of the material relates to Johan Jost Herkimer; his son Lawrence Herchmer; Lawrence's son, the Reverend Willam Macaulay Herchmer and his wife Frances and his son Col. William Macaulay Herchmer of the North-West Mounted Police.

Fonds consists of correspondence received by A. E. Prince from his family and friends during the period of 1909 to 1946. Also included are publications by A. E. Prince, as well as other Queen's colleagues, teaching notes, household expenses, memberships, clippings and programmes for various theatrical and musical events. Of particular note are the photographs taken by Prince during his tour of duty in Cairo, Palestine, and Egypt.

The fonds consists of correspondence and subject files relating to various matters during Salsberg's term as an alderman and as a member of the Ontario Legislature. Also included are correspondence and research notes relating to many topics pertaining to the Jewish communities in Canada and around the world. There are also copies of Salsberg's articles written for the Canadian Jewish News and other publications. Personal photos and some of Dora's files can also be found in this fonds.
