This collection consists of a transcript of the 'Journal of the dayly occurances on my way from Adolphustown Upper Canada to Montreal on board the Hay Bay Adventure'. Mentions local landmarks, people and businesses.

Fonds consists of a Letterbook containing holograph copies of letters to his parents and his brother, describing life in Canada after Robert Craig's emigration from Scotland. There are also several letters back to his parents, from well-meaning parties, describing the tragic death, by drowning, of their son.
